WHAT IS WESTERN NIGHT?

This is an annual community event organized by PTO with free admission and held outdoors at Gold Rush Elementary.

Come for food, games, raffles, face painting, photo booth, and fun!

We will have a General Store where cowboys and cowgirls can pick up western gear, school spirit wear, candy, & small toys.

This year we are adding a pumpkin patch to our festivities! Pumpkins are purchased with tickets only. They are each 3 tickets. We ask that you select one pumpkin per child. Pumpkins are first come, first served.

WHAT'S COOK'N?

This year, we will have three food trucks: Cyndy’s Food-lish-us, Rebel Cookie Dough, & Kona Ice, as well as pizza by the slice. While these trucks take credit cards, Gold Rush doesn’t always have the strongest network connection. PLEASE bring cash for a speedier check out!* There will be a limited amount of pizza by the slice available.

Our chuck wagon crew will have cheese and pepperoni to choose from. Pizza purchase is by ticket only. Each slice is 3 tickets. Bottled water is available for 1 ticket.

Popcorn is free!

ROUND’N UP SOME FUN

Western Night isn’t complete without some good ‘ol games! Look for races, ladder ball, bean bag toss, and face painting (3 tickets per design).

Put on your slickest cowboy hat and prettiest bandana and head over to the photo booth to take some western pictures.

And don’t forget to get those tickets in your favorite raffle baskets! Make sure your name and phone number are written on the back. Winners are announced at 6:45 p.m.

AUCTION TIME!

The silent auction will take place online and will run from Thursday, September 28th through 5 pm on Thursday, October 4th. A link to all that’s available will be included in the September 28th Electronic Thursday Folder as well as the PTO newsletter.

All winning bidders will be notified by email and payment will be due through MySchoolBucks.com. Auction items can be picked up the night of the event, or anytime after, in the Gold Rush office.

GET YeR TICKETS

Tickets purchased through presale will be held at a Will Call table near the front of the school for pick up beginning at 5pm.

Tickets at the event will be in bundles of 5 for $5 or 10 for $10.

GET YER LAND

Buy land - if our pony poops on your land, win $100 cash prize!

Plots are $1 each and will be randomly assigned. New land owners will be notified of their plots by email.

RANCH HANDS WANTED

Volunteer to setup or cleanup, man the ticket table, or staff our General Store. Most shifts are 35 minutes and we ask you to commit to your entire shift. Volunteers helping at the event earn 10 free tickets!
